In the factory car prepared by Skoda Motorsport World Rally Team, Capello left behind both experienced rallye driver Renato Travaglia and multiple MotoGP champion Valentino Rossi.
 
Together with his co-driver, Luigi Pirollo, Capello won four out of eight stages at the different parts of legendary race track. Saturday’s first stage was not lucky for Fabia WRC, it terminated on the eleventh position. Then, however, it reached three second positions and finished the day with a spectacular victory on the final stage. Other three best times Fabia WRC setted with sovereignty on Sunday’s final leg.
