Audi aims to continue its string of victories at the Le Mans 24 Hours with a completely new LMP1 sports car development. Since its debut in 1999, the brand with the Four Rings has won the world’s most important endurance race as many as nine times with the R8, R10 TDI and R15 TDI models. In doing so, Audi has equaled this feat in the race’s roll of honor with Ferrari. With the new R18, which was presented at the Audi Sportpark in Ingolstadt on the evening of Friday, December 10, 2010, Audi is aiming for its tenth Le Mans success in 2011.Read news...

During the entire 1000-kilometer race Tom Kristensen/Allan McNish and Dindo Capello/Romain Dumas at the wheel of the two Audi R15 TDI cars fought a fascinating duel with the two Peugeot 908 cars. One hour before the end, Tom Kristensen and Allan McNish were clearly leading the race when the only safety car period caused their advantage to shrink from over 30 to 13.5 seconds.Read news...

Dindo Capello and Gian Luca Giraudi led the entire race of the penultimate leg of the Italian GT3 Championship, apart from the two laps in which the honor was touched with Lorenzo Bontempelli, until the Ferrari F430 Scuderia went wide on the grass. After a stint effective in Capello's opening, in the final race of the morning to restock Giraudi resisted Austrian Richard Lietz, signing and then the layout of the Park of Monza on the couple's second victory of 2010 in Piedmont, in addition to the result at Mugello last July.Read news...

The thrilling duel of the diesel sports cars from Audi and Peugeot had spectators watching with bated breath again at the 13th edition of the "Petit Le Mans” race at Road Atlanta (U.S. state of Georgia).
